Hey, pals! Have you ever heard of a cat being allergic to cats? We've heard of humans being allergic to our favorite fluffy felines, but the fluffy felines themselves? We had no idea this was possible until we came across the story we are featuring today. The original poster (or OP) recounts their cat's medical mysteries. The cat in question, a regal street cat turned house lion, had been displaying some weird symptoms for a while so OP decided it was time to consult a professional. 

After a check-up with a cat dermatologist, it was discovered that this majestic fluffy feline was allergic to pollen, grass, dust mites, and his fellow felines! Talk about a surprise. If only humans could be allergic to other humans, we would have a perfect excuse to get out of excessive social obligations.   • Okay, first of all, this majestic feline is simply regal. We don't know the whole story, but we are so happy that this guy is no longer a street cat and currently spends his time as a happy and well taken care of house lion. Even the fact that his parents cared about him to take him to the doctor and are willing to spend thousands on his treatments to ensure his comfort brings us joy. He deserves the very best.

I don't use it myself because I don't have cat allergies but there is a type of food called Pro Plan LiveClear that is advertised to help neutralize the substance in cat saliva that triggers an allergic reaction in some people. I'm not sure whether or not feeding it to the cats in your household would help a cat with cat allergies, but it might be worth looking into.
